From: Claro Santos
Fw: travel ban

Letter of request for Special Travel Permit/OEC addressed to Admin Manalili. Indicate that you want to return to Nigeria from your vacation.
Attach photocopies of cerpac ID, return visa, employment certificates or other proofs of your employment with the same company like ID, etc.
Tatlong Signatures and kelangan ng papel mo:

Huwag kalimutan paphotocopy ang Special permit for future use.

Thanks and Best Regards,

To ALL:

Ibig sabihin "same Employer" ang babalikan.

Thanks and Best Regards,

FOR CHARITY

More pictures while packing the household items last 22nd of July.

And finally on the 26th of July, the team was ready for the villagers of Kuje. They were all assembled at St. Andrew's Seminary as arranged. 100 families received a bucket full of goodies. A generous spirit is an inherent trait among Filipinos.
The work as manifested here is but a very small token rendered to the Filipinos' host country. The Filipino Community here in Abuja, together with the religious sisters of the Nunciature, know that there are still many things that the community can do to help.

Here Alan and Sherwin were loading the buckets in the car. It was such a real spirit of balikatan, a joint effort, that each Pinoy with a vehicle carried buckets for the villagers.

At the village....

The villagers, so attentive and well-organized...

The team was back in Abuja by around 2:30pm...and went straight to Dantata & Sawoe for another event..

For Charity

After almost two years, the promise to donate food and other household items to the needy had been redeemed.
On the 22nd of July, after office hours, Pusong Pinoy officers and members heeded the call of Benjie Nadado, PPA president, to pack the items. These were earlier bought by Mrs. Anna Dador, the current Asst. Treasurer and Property Custodian, and her daughter Khaye.
Although, it was threatening to rain, the group merrily packed the items, what with the very delicious pancit, of course, prepared by Anna. And with the stomach progress duly administered, the work progressed and was soon ready for delivery.

Anna measuring the rice, equal talaga...
and Sherwin, Khaye and John systematically putting the items inside each bucket..(ewan naman kung ano ang order ni Nestor)

The group while packing....

The group:
Benjie, Nonits, Tikboy, Maris, John, Sherwin, Rose, Fely, Maebelle, Bernie, Lolit, Vangie, Grace
led by Mr. & Mrs. Nestor Dador and Khaye. The seamen housed at the embassy also helped in carrying the buckets and cleaning the place.
(to be continued--the actual delivery of the items)
